I currently live in Newport News, VA and meet with most of my students online, but I am happy to do in-person lessons for local students!

Meet The Instructor
For over 30 years, I have dedicated myself to the art of trumpet playing, constantly refining my skills and nurturing my musicality. My educational path led me to Northwestern State University where I earned a bachelor's degree in music performance, and later to DePaul University, where I deepened my expertise with a master's in jazz studies. Alongside my personal growth, I have found immense joy in sharing my knowledge with aspiring musicians as a devoted musician and teacher. As I approach the end of my distinguished Army career as a Army musician, I am grateful for the incredible opportunities I have had to travel the world and collaborate with renowned musicians such as Allen Vizzutti, Byron Stripling, Ellis Marsalis, and many others. Each encounter leaving an indelible mark on my musical spirit.
